Manchester United dilaporkan telah membuat keputusan yang mengejutkan di paruh musim ini. Klub berjuluk Setan Merah itu memastikan telah memecat sang manajer, Jose Mourinho, usai menelan kekalahan dari Liverpool.

"Manchester United mengumumkan manajer Jose Mourinho telah meninggalkan klub," tulis pernyataan resmi klub. Sontak, kabar ini menuai beragam reaksi fans sepakbola di media sosial. Bahkan, topik seputar Jose Mourinho menjadi Trending Topic di Twitter. 

Banyak warganet yang mengomentari kepergian pria berkebangsaan Portugal tersebut. Beberapa di antaranya berisi ucapan terima kasih atas kinerjanya selama memimpin Manchester United, tapi tidak sedikit pula yang mengaku lega dengan keputusan tersebut.

Seperti diketahui, performa MU musim ini tidak terlalu membanggakan. Di penghujung paruh musim ini, klub tersebut masih bertengger di papan tengah, tepatnya posisi enam.
