Forty Lore City High School students will have to attend Cambridge High School in the fall because the state has revoked the charter of the Lore City school.

Tim Roberts, 18, senior from Cambridge High, is working for City Engineer Lloyd Brockwell. Roberts has already designed several city projects.

County commissioners are considering raising water rates for customers in Sewer District 6.

AUGUST 4, 1990

Thomas E. Bruney is recognized at The Ohio State Fair in Columbus as Guernsey County's Senior Citizen of the Year.

AUGUST 4, 2000

The Guernsey County Health Department has named Linda Mehl as the new director of nursing. Mehl, a native of Guernsey County, replaces Pam Morrow, who retired from the agency after 30 years of service.
